Robert works with paint, plaster & wood; his compositions rely heavily upon photographic subject matter. Robert's work focuses on the relationship between positive / negative space & the harmony / discord between the two.

Robert does commissioned work for select clients as well as art installations on theater, stage and film production sets. Robert also specializes in corporate identity, advertising design, publishing, digital pre-press, and communications for a diverse selection of businesses - from global, Fortune 500 companies to local start-ups. Robert manages projects through creative problem solving and innovative thinking. Robert possesses a strong eye for detail and can produce art independently or as part of a team.
Robert has served as a part-time, adjunct member of the faculty at The Art Institute of Atlanta, where he guided students through an intensive study of Adobe Creative Suite. His class explored both the fine art and the applied science of creating digital images using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Who is Robert Miller?
Robert is a mixed media / studio artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Robert, an Atlanta native and lifelong DeKalb County resident, resides in the Toco Hill / Emory neighborhood and maintains a studio space in rural Southeast Georgia.

Artist Statement
What my work is all about:

My work is most often an exploration of positive and negative space within a composition, as well as a study of the harmony or discord between the two. My mediums are typically paint, plaster and wood and I almost always start with a photographic image. The completed work is a mixed media culmination of a multi-step, ever-evolving process.
